Sorting Folders & Files
Keeping your media library organized doesn’t stop at creating folders. Folderlyzer provides flexible sorting options that allow you to arrange both folders and files according to your preference.
📂 Sort Folders
- Click on the Sort button in the Folderlyzer toolbar.
- Choose Sort Folders.
- Select from the available options:
- By Name (A–Z or Z–A)
- By Date (Newest or Oldest)
- By Modified Date
- By Author
- By Size
- To go back to the original order, click Reset.
Sorting folders helps you quickly locate categories when managing large libraries with many folder groups.
🖼️ Sort Files
- Open a folder and click the Sort button in the Folderlyzer toolbar.
- Choose Sort Files.
- Select your preferred sorting option:
- By Name (Ascending/Descending)
- By Date (Newest/Oldest)
- By Modified Date
- By Author
- By File Size
- Use Reset to restore the default order.
Sorting files makes it faster to find specific images, documents, or videos without scrolling endlessly.
